McDonald's app Crashed when ordering. CC charged but missing order in app. Order Shows in Email?

This happened to me recently. When ordering something simple on my mcdonalds app the app crashed right when I submitted my order. It never got to the da da daa I'm loving it confirmation screen. Instead:

1. App crashed
2. Credit Card (CC) is charged for the crashed order
3. When you reopen the mcdonalds app, the order is missing completely. But the order is still in the shopping cart.
4. If you check your email, the order is probably confirmed in your email.
5. Per McDonalds manager at the location I went, if the order is not completed within the day, then the order is cancelled and you are refunded.

6. Indeed, after 4 hours, you will receive a refund/cancellation email stating your order could not be fulfilled.
7. The pending charge should disappear.

The manager says this happens all the time.

So.. if it happens to you.. you can still just proceed with your order.
8. Click on your cart.
9. Proceed with the order and make payment. You will receive a new order number wants the order completes and sends you a confirmation through the app.
