의료진은 아이의 몸에 드러난 손상의 흔적들을 단순 사고가 아닌 아동학대라고 판단했고, 현장에 있던 양모 장 씨를 경찰에 신고했다. 그러나 양모 장 씨는 단순한 사고였을 뿐이라고 주장하고 있다.

16개월 정인이를 죽음까지 이르게 한 폭력행위, 과연 양모 장 씨의 행동을 실수라고 볼 수 있을까? 죽은 정인이의 몸이 말하는 사건 당일의 진실은 무엇일까? 그리고 왜 우리는 정인이의 죽음을 막지 못했을까?

Her abdominal region was filled with blood that leaked from the ruptured organs in her body. Her name, was Jungin. Jungin, who was adopted 7 months after birth, passed away, 271 days after adoption.

The medical team decided that the damage done to the baby was not the result of a mere accident, but rather the result of child abuse, and alerted the police about the foster mother, Ms. Jang. But Ms. Jang is constantly stating that it was an accident.
