We spent many months following this huge Botswana elephant through the taxidermy studio with a time lapse video camera. We were able to catch every step of the process and condense it down to just over two minutes. And what an incredible process it was. From altering the form, to sculpting the clay, from taxiing the skin, to airbrushing the color, and from creating the habitat, to standing the mount on it's base.
