I want to point out that, at this point, that I purchased this heater out of my own pocket ... VEVOR approached me afterwards, so I purchased this heater from them based on my own research, and as you guys can see, it has taken all of the abuse I have thrown at it !

Actual description: The first test of my new burn chamber head.

After editing this video... I think I may have figured something out. I have talked about this before, but we were actually able to see it in this video.

When testing gasoline and other volatile fuels, I pointed out that that I thought the sputter / pulsing noise, was caused by the mixture burning instantly, causing an over pressure, flaming out, and then restarting. I believe that the diesel and waste oil mix is having this same issue once it is atomized in the heater.

The dosing pump pulses and that fuel is atomized, and burnt instantly instead of gradually. This doesn't happen when the fuel is vaporized in the chamber, and it also didn't happen when we added air to the fuel line. There may not be a practical solution (using the oem ecu) but I may be able to incorporate a damper to smoothen out the fuel delivery. That may work.
