Virtual DJ's "sandbox" feature is not as well known as it should be, as it's a fantastic way of "trying out" your next mix, even when you're in the middle of a DJ set. In this video, I'll show you how it's done and demo it in action for you.

If it's not working for you, make sure you're in two-deck mode (it doesn't work with four decks), make sure you actually have your gear set up so your headphones are enabled for pre-cueing, and finally, check that only one deck is currently playing "live" (it won't work if more than one audio source is playing).
