This is a basic demonstration on Testing an AC to DC Power Adapter with a Multimeter. This is an easy test you can make to test your DC Adapter. Remember that you are performing a "no load" test and the voltage will most likely be a little higher than what's stated on the adapters label. This is ok, and normal for no load tests. If your measurement is lower (2-4 volts or more) then the adapter may be defective.
