Saturday marks the fourth anniversary of George Floyd's death.

George Floyd's tragic murder in Minneapolis sparked global protests and solidarity for change in policing. Statistics still show that Black Americans are more than twice as likely to be killed by police compared to their white counterparts.

Efforts to reform policing at the federal level have faced challenges in Congress. The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which was approved by the House in 2021, has been delayed in the Senate due to disagreements over qualified immunity for police officers.

On Friday, Roland spoke with Philonise Floyd, brother of George Floyd, founder and President of PAKFISC about George Floyd's impact and the ongoing fight for police reform.
