Makeshift PLD Using an Arduino Uno - Reprogrammable Logic Chip Alernative - Simply Put

Описание к видео Makeshift PLD Using an Arduino Uno - Reprogrammable Logic Chip Alernative - Simply Put

PLD - programmable logic devices - are a family of chips with many names (like PLA, PAL, GAL, SPLD, and CPLD) which are basically reprogrammable digital logic chips, but trying to use them (by either acquiring or making a programmer device) is (in my opinion) horrendous to try to get into, being either too expensive or too frustrating. I will do more with them in the future, but for now, I am using an Arduino Uno as a "stand in", which can never be as fast as a real chip, but can still perform the same role, and this to me is quite a good starting point. Stay tuned for the 128-pin version!
