Dairakudakan's infamous street performances provide a much needed sanctuary for those who feel the urge to escape the streets of endless department stores, and engage with something beyond the routine of their everyday existence. Led by acclaimed artistic director Akaji Maro, Dairakudakan (aka ‘Great Camel Battleship’) is one of Japan’s most legendary Butoh dance troupes.
