As I'm finding so much time in the garden over this Covid-19 lock down I took the time to update the channel on the Sessile Oak Bonsai.

Well since then the tree grew well, until I fully defoliated mid-summer only for the UK weather to surprise us with a solid 4 weeks of rain. The oak sat out of leaf for two whole months. First time this has happened. Lesson learnt, in future I will only be partial defoliating.

Despite this I transplanted it in to this pot made by world famous Czech ceramicist Tom Benda. I asked Tom to make this container especially for this oak. I left the glaze colour to Tom and I am so pleased with what he created.
