A user enters a password and some text, and the system encrypts it locally. The optional self destruct link allows the user to arrange to have the text stored in a self destruct container. The self destruct container is erased when the URL is accessed. This video shows a sample and the side effect of someone trying to access a URL to a container that has already been accessed. Of course, it will also allow you to encrypt text and keep it forever.. but all encryption can eventually be broken. This is why the self destruct links are vital technology as, if it can't be retrieved, it can't be decrypted.
