On a perfect day, I got the chance to say goodbye to these beautiful old trams, aboard one of their other lines, Linha 24E. However, the most famous line is the line 28 through the old streets and steep hills, hence the reason Carris kept these trams as their mainline operating cars.

Note- they are known as “Remodelado” cars
