Discovering "4-6 Foot" Surf in Nebraska

Never in my life did I imagine that I would actually find surf in Nebraska. I've dreamed of it, been stressed out over it, lost sleep thinking about it, but I never thought that it would actually be real. In my mind this is one of my greatest accomplishments. Before this, finding surf in Nebraska was probably more rare than finding life on Mars. We showed up to Lake McConaughy to actually see white caps & I can't believe we ended up surfing, let alone finding at least one wave that had a 4-6ft face.
