Heaven Starts Here is a Christian faith song about realizing that God’s Kingdom isn’t only something we wait for after death — it’s something we are called to live inside, build, and embody right now.

This song was inspired by a simple but unsettling question:

Why do we wait for Heaven to truly start living…
when Jesus taught us to pray,
“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven”?

Jesus didn’t rise from the dead just to disappear into Heaven.
He stayed on earth after His resurrection.
He walked. He taught. He revealed Himself.
He showed us what resurrected life looks like in human form.

And then He ascended — not to escape the world…
but to show us what a fully aligned life with God looks like.

Heaven Starts Here reframes resurrection and ascension as something that can begin in this life — not only in the afterlife.

This song explores the idea that:

• God is as present on earth as He is in Heaven
• Resurrection can happen inside a broken life
• Ascension can happen through alignment, obedience, and faith
• The Kingdom isn’t coming later — it’s already here
• Heaven is not just a destination — it’s a dimension
• We weren’t given wings — we were given hands
• The earth is already full of God’s glory

It challenges the mindset of waiting to live until death,
waiting to love until later,
waiting to obey until it’s easier,
waiting to experience God until Heaven.

Heaven Starts Here is a call to live with Heaven’s values now.
To build God’s Kingdom where we stand.
To stop postponing faith.
To stop postponing obedience.
To stop postponing love.
To stop postponing purpose.

Jesus didn’t wait for Heaven to live.

Neither should we.
