Soon to be the first Egyptian in space, Sara Sabry sat down with Womena this week to talk about her work and adventures.

Sara is an analog astronauts and founder of Deep Space Initiative, a non-profit with the mission to make space more accessible for everyone and provide opportunities for those who would otherwise never experience space.

Through short courses, research and podcasts they cover important topics from astronaut health to space architecture and transportation. Working to build the first space analog station in Egypt Sara says “we really want space to be part of the conversation in Egypt”
