Olusola Oyewole discusses the benefits of Knowledge diplomacy

"Some countries have identified the importance of knowledge diplomacy ... they are supporting research, they are supporting collaborations with other countries, they are offering scholarships to citizens of other countries, and through this they are promoting their own knowledge."

Olusola Oyewole, Secretary General for the Association of African Universities, recently joined us at our event Knowledge diplomacy - the role of international higher education in a new geopolitical era, to explain how important knowledge diplomacy is to further research collaborations between countries, and how being apolitical allows for this.
