Throughout the 1990's Leitrim Genealogy Center has been filming the last exponents of many crafts, customs, and traditions. Traditions have survived longer in the small-farming border counties of Leitrim, Cavan, Fermanagh, and Roscommon. This is where our story is told...

We are indebted to the men and women who kept these trades and traditions alive down to the end of the century. This truly is one of the great films that captures forever what were once everyday events but are now very rare.
