This rope tow was installed at some time in the 2000s as a short beginner lift. The model plaque says Kindergartenlift on it indicating that it is a German manufacturer. It is very hard to ride and really wears down on your gloves. Beware this is not a magic carpet, but it is a very cool way to get young children into skiing. Last ski season 17-18 the rope tow was free but now the tickets are $5 on weekdays.
