I get both the clear gem and box gem in the level Tomb Time in Crash Bandicoot: Warped without the purple gem. Normally, you'd need the purple gem, as both the clear gem and some of the boxes are locked behind a purple gem path, but by using an EXTREMELY PRECISE jump to get to the END of the gem path, the purple gem is never required.


Bear in mind that I'm not the first person to pull this off. Prior to editing, I found two other videos that do the same thing. However, one was using (presumably) the PAL version of the game, where Crash runs faster and jumps higher, making the exploit easier. The other was done with the N. Sane Trilogy, and not the original. Thus, this video proves that this exploit CAN be done using the substantially more difficult NTSC version of the original PS1 game.
