Testing RC Plane Launcher

I built this launcher out of Electrical conduit and Plastic Conduit. This is a test prototype.
The first launch I tied kite string to the bungee as well as to the plane.
It broke...
My next test was with climbing rope. I routed the rope under the lower cross bar and the rope to the plane over the cross bar.
I used 1.5 inch steel rings at the end od the bungee with 6 zip Ties instead of steel clamps.
I used12 in spikes to make sure the bungee wouldn't accidentally release.
For the trigger, I used a fast release sailing clip.

this test didn't have any power to it. I removed my cameras so that they wouldn't get damaged.

With power, I'm sure it's going to work.
