Do Not Resuscitate - What does it mean to Older Adults?

When a person is admitted to hospital, a discussion about "code status" usually takes place. If a person has a "DNR" or Do Not Resuscitate order on their hospital chart, then they would not receive CPR if they pass away. In this video, Dr. Didyk reviews the basics of a DNR discussion in hospital and how a hospital or community DNR order can fit into an older adult's advance care plan.
