Mario Party 8 - King Boo's Haunted Hideaway (5P Tag Battle - Full Game)

We decided to try a Tag Battle, this time 'round! This mode splits the players into teams of two and you pool stars, coins, and candy between you! This way you can hold up to SIX candies! (And you can do tricky things like have one player buy a candy and the other use it on the same round!)

OH. And this is important: THERE WERE FIVE OF US PLAYING.

What we did was have the extra player take control of a person, in-sequence, each round and then sit out every 5th. This extra player is to play to win no matter who they are and ALSO the player whose character they've taken over CANNOT contribute to decisions made that round. It's all up to the extra player, well, and his current teammate. (It's a lot crazier in free-for-all as you can imagine.)

I've made a chart to indicate who the extra player was controlling in each round. The first line should have repeated four times, but we accidentally didn't have the player sit out on the 3rd set, so they sat out twice on the last set:

Turn 1: Boo / Turn 2: Yoshi / Turn 3: Wario / Turn 4: Waluigi / Turn 5: None
Turn 6: Boo / Turn 7: Yoshi / Turn 8: Wario / Turn 9: Waluigi / Turn 10: None
Turn 11: Boo / Turn 12: Yoshi / Turn 13: Wario / Turn 14: Waluigi / Turn 15: Boo
Turn 16: Yoshi / Turn 17: Wario / Turn 18: Waluigi / Turn 19: None / Turn 20: None

I recommend this as a fun way to include more people in a game of Mario Party! If you/they don't like the idea of a "sit-out" round, go ahead and just repeat the control rotation of the four characters five times - works just as well!

(Oh, and I was Wario.)

NOTE: Recorded on a setup that only allowed for MONO sound output and 4:3 aspect ratio!
