The Pandaren of Shen-zin Su are one of the playable races in World of Warcraft, introduced in Mists of Pandaria. They are available to both the Alliance and the Horde, the first race in World of Warcraft to have this option. Pandaren are ancient and secretive, having long remained hidden. Now that they have rejoined the world, the order of Tushui has pledged allegiance to the Alliance, and the order of Huojin has found companionship in the Horde.
Their starting zone is the Wandering Isle, a giant turtle that wanders Azeroth's oceans. At the end of the island's questline (around level 10), players will be able to choose which faction (Alliance or Horde) to join, and will not be able to change afterward using in-game means. Those who have joined either faction don't have any capital cities to share with their allies. As a result, most non-neutral pandaren consider Stormwind or Orgrimmar their base of operations respectively. Their racial mount is the dragon turtle, and they speak Pandaren as a main language. When one of them joins the Alliance or Horde, they learn Common or Orcish to communicate with their new allies.
Alliance:
The Alliance (also called the Grand Alliance) is one of two major political factions of the mortal races in Azeroth, its counterpart being the Horde which the Alliance has traditionally been at war with. Driven by tradition, the Alliance consists of powerful cultures and groups bound not by desperation or necessity, but by their deep commitments to abstract concepts like nobility, honor, faith, justice, and sacrifice. Striving to represent these high ideals, its many different peoples all contribute their technical, arcane, and spiritual wisdom toward the shared goal of preserving order on Azeroth and creating a peaceful and just world.
Horde:
The Horde (also called the New Horde or Thrall's Horde) is one of the two major political factions of the mortal races in Azeroth, its counterpart being the Alliance which the Horde has traditionally been at war with. Driven by unity, the Horde consists of a coalition of disparate races and cultures loosely joined in an alliance of convenience against a hostile world that would see them destroyed. A faction led by off-worlders and composed of outsiders, the Horde has survived the obstacles of Azeroth by bonding together, fighting as family, comrades, or even uneasy allies. Focused, ferocious, and sometimes monstrous, the Horde values strength and honor and is relentlessly opposed to any who threaten the ideals of freedom and hope, but struggles to keep aggression in check.
