Downtown Indianapolis is set for a major transformation as Circle Centre Mall begins a $600 million redevelopment led by Hendricks Commercial Properties. The project will convert the enclosed mall into an open-air, mixed-use center featuring retail, dining, entertainment, office spaces, and 300 residential units.

Construction preparations started on April 1, 2025, with closures affecting the mall’s south block and a skywalk. However, key areas like the food court and parking garage remain open. The redevelopment, completed in phases, will introduce 100,000 square feet of outdoor public space and is expected to finish by twenty thirty. The project, in partnership with the City of Indianapolis and IEDC, aims to revitalize the city’s core into a vibrant urban hub.
