The Southern Medical Program’s Chronic Disease Prevention Program is aimed at progressing the international research front in the prevention and management of chronic diseases. The program will harness the strengths of researchers from both UBC Okanagan and Vancouver campuses and Interior Health (IH) to support new discoveries and knowledge translation. The program will also establish new partnerships with health professionals and community-health organizations throughout the IH region.
