Описание к видео What is the Russian Army Tooth to Tail Ratio?

Tooth to Tail (T3R) measures the "Teeth" or the ratio of combat soldiers to the logistical "Tail" of support soldiers. This can can be used as a measurement of the logistical and expeditionary capabilities of an army.

Russian Armored Brigades are very heavily laden with artillery and anti-aircraft weapons. This creates an expanded logistical footprint which can't be serviced properly by 3 logistical battalions.

Although the Russians do not publish their T3R, a ratio of 1:1.1 can be assumed based on estimated personnel numbers.

NOTE: I know you Civil War guys are gonna get all FARBY on me. But let me explain. I’m sure you know that men back then were a heartier and more Capable breed of soldier. The average man knew how to pluck a chicken, build a fire and forage for food. At any given time up to 20% of soldiers were tasked out with other duties beyond their primary duty of fighting. So more of the logistical burden was placed on the average soldier sho could somewhat meet this task rather than relying on specialized soldiers like we do today.
