If you only know one outdoor rock climbing place in the US, then it's probably Yosemite. If you've watched only a couple of climbing movies, then they're probably "Free Solo", "The Dawn Wall". Those legendary stories all happened in Yosemite National Park, the birthplace of trad climbing. Yosemite has countless classic crack climbing, multi-pitch and big wall routes. Yuan visited the park in the past two weekends and climbed some really pure and beautiful crack routes. He redpointed his first trad 5.11a! Let him show us the center of the climbing universe!
