Enjoy the song! There’s also a beautiful MV for this song, so maybe I’ll make subtitles for it later, too. I’ve had a bit tough day, hope that didn’t affect the translation.
This song is pretty easy despite the phrase “When I’m with you it feels like war, and in the war feels like with you.”
I’ve translated it differently at first (it was “I feel in you like in the war, and in the war feels like in you.”), as in the original lyrics the prepositions used with “war” and “partner” were the same (that preposition was actually “on”, not “in”, but I couldn’t use it due to the language differences). I guess that was just for making the lyrics more beautiful/interesting, but because of that the meaning was not “with you”, it sounded like “on you” like in a phrase “lying on you”. Not “in you” however, so I decided to change my first version to the second one :)
Fun fact: as I’ve read in the live’s comments, lots of people back then thought that the lyrics are “I take my schoolbag and go home” instead of “I take some port wine and go home”, as schoolbag (“portphel’ ”) and port wine (“portveyn”) sound almost the same here)
