The reasoning behind doing this is so that it can help thin out your foundation while also making it appear more luminous once applied to the skin! I love doing this the older I get and the drier my skin becomes as it helps my foundation look less heavy. The addition of the oil also makes your application of the product, glide on and buff in more easily.
