http://www.popcorntaxi.com.au This Is The End is Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's directorial debut - the duo have worked on numerous films together since getting their break on Da Ali G Show and wowing the world with Superbad, but this is the first time they've written and directed a major feature film together.

This Is The End is fast gathering the kind of reviews that came with Superbad. This time however, it's not schoolkids getting trouble at a party, it's Hollywood stars getting into trouble at a party. And by trouble, we mean apocalypse. And by stars, we mean James Franco, Jonah Hill, Emma Watson, Jay Baruchel, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Channing Tatum. Oh, and RIhanna. And Michael Cera. And Aziz Ansari.

Rogen and Goldberg started with their Hollywood friends to see who would play a 'heightened' version of themselves and then went on from there. The results are hilarious, although lightly misleading. Michael Cera is not a drug-addled groper in real life, and Rihanna tends not to throw punches. Emma Watson, not so axe-weildy. James Franco, not so much of pretentious douche.

This Is The End, whilst being a spoof on the current world of Hollywood and the Christian idea of the end of the world, has, at its core, an investigation into the nature of friendship, which gives the movie a heart beneath all the dick and jizz jokes.

Rogen and Goldberg talk about their process in this interview - about 50% of this film was script, and the other 50% was ad-libbed.Their movies may give you the impression that they're just loveable goofs, but when it comes to writing movies, they're hardened professionals, who just happen to be loveable goofs.

Mainly, in this interview, they just have a lot of fun. We've also got some great behind the scenes footage. Well worth a look.

You'll notice the 'WARNING: SWEARY' - it's there for a reason. When asked if the future of comedy was dick or jizz jokes, Seth and Evan took it to a whole new level. Seriously NSFW.
