This morning just after 10am I saw the departure of MY Bounty a motor yacht from Ocean Village, Southampton for a trip round the docks with paying passengers on board and then down the Solent towards the Isle of Wight for Cowes week to view the yacht racing.

MY Bounty was built in 1936 and served as part of the floatilla of little ships that had rescued 1,150 british troops from the beaches of Dunkirk in WWll.
