Participants at India Art Fair 2022 | SUNO

One of the many stunning pieces that stood out at the India Art Fair 2022 above the rest is project SUNO. Kanchan Joneja, a design thinker, who is one-third of the team behind this project, characterises it as "a new media experiment, investigating the intersections between the art of storytelling and digital soundscapes”. It tries to reproduce an inconspicuous place in the city of Delhi through audio immersion by traversing the actual and virtual worlds, sensorially and symbolically. In a society where we have become accustomed to disturbing imagery, SUNO asks you to interact, sympathise, and explore a hidden environment through digital storytelling."
