Days later, another anonymous source told PEOPLE Magazine that Joe Gatto had been inappropriate in the workplace while filming on TruTV. A former employee who began working for Gatto after college, alleged that Gatto harassed her while she worked on Impractical Jokers. She claimed his behavior turned flirtatious when she turned 18, despite being warned by a previous employee about his inappropriate conduct.

She alleged that Gatto would touch her inappropriately, ask for back massages, invite her to his room, and inquire about her personal life. He would also message her on social media, calling her "hot," and acted possessive when she posted photos of her boyfriend. When she rejected his advances, he would allegedly be rude to her at work. She felt she had to appease him to keep her job.

She further alleged that Gatto once touched her upper thigh in a hotel elevator during a work trip. He allegedly told her he "knew" he would make her uncomfortable during the trip.

Following these allegations, Gatto issued a statement announcing his decision to enter an inpatient program to continue working on himself, expressing gratitude for the support of his friends, fans, and family.
