While lurking about the office, our frequent guest, Magic: The Gathering player Toffel, came across quite an old Yu-Gi-Oh! card on Adam's desk, with QUITE a familiar effect.

This led him to the question: "What other Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are analogous to Magic: The Gathering cards?"
