【レザークラフト】加熱式エッジペイントでコバを仕上げる/ [Leather Craft] Edge finishing with a heatable edge paint (English sub)

今回は加熱して使うことのできるエッジペイントでコバを仕上げてみました。ずっと気になっていたアイテムを試すことができて楽しかった～。何となく敬遠されがちな印象のコバの顔料仕上げ。ですが、クロム鞣しの革にも使えたり、明るい色で仕上げられたり、はたまた曲げに強かったりとメリットも沢山。使う革の種類や色の幅も広がります。もう、ワクワクしかないっ！

作業手順については試行錯誤中なのですが、ある程度満足できる位には仕上げられたかな。もっと効果的・効率的な使い方をご存じの方がいらっしゃったら、是非コメント欄で教えてください。


This time, I finished a leather edge with edge paint which can be used by heating. It was fun to try the item I had been curious about.

I have the impression that people tend to avoid the pigment finish. But, I have been so interested in this process because it has many merits : such as it can be used for chrome tanned leather, it can be finished in bright colors, and it is strong against bending. My choice for leather types and colors will be wider. I can only get excited!

I'm still trying to figure out how to do it, but I think I've made it to my satisfaction. Let me know in the comments if you know how to use it more effectively and efficiently.
