Hey there, legend! I'm Ian, and guess what? I’ve ditched the cozy comforts of home for a life on the road. Why? Well, let’s just say that after a totally amicable separation from my wife in early 2023 (Hi, Babe!), I decided that van life was the way forward—because nothing screams freedom like cramming your life into a tiny metal box with wheels, right?

It all started in early 2023 with me and a trusty 1998 Volkswagen Transporter—basically a shoebox on wheels. Spoiler alert: I had zero clue what I was doing. YouTube tutorials were my best mates as I transformed that van into something resembling a home. But here’s the thing, folks—living, working, and trying to avoid smashing my head on the roof every five minutes gets old real fast. So, naturally, I upgraded! Enter: my 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter, an ex-ambulance with a 3.0 V6 diesel that I’ve totally mastered…kind of.

Now, I’m hitting the road, powered by my passion for adventure, a quest for a healthier lifestyle, and the occasional snack run. Van life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but hey, it’s the best therapy I can afford! I’m all about finding growth on the go, living simply, and dodging the consumerism hamster wheel.
