My name is Kimberly. I am from Rhode Island. This is my husband, Vincent, and I wouldn't be here today getting this facelift and neck lift surgery or had this journey if it wasn't for him. From the time I was young, I call it the curse. My father had a double chin. My grandmother had a double chin. My aunts had one too, and they would all tease me. You know, as a young child, they'd say, "Someday you're going to look like this." And I did get that double chin. I never really felt confident with it. It always bothered me. I was always self-conscious about it. I didn't feel comfortable meeting new people. I didn't feel comfortable in myself. I didn't feel pretty. I didn't feel comfortable taking photos.

I would wear turtlenecks and always cover my neck. And I realized it was time to take care of myself. So when I turned 50, I said, "This is the time I'm going to do something about it."

I knew having a deep plane facelift and neck lift was something that she wanted to do. This was something that would make her feel comfortable, and she was doing her research. She found out that she needed a facelift and a neck lift and went the rest of the way.

I remember going home and saying, "I found the surgeon. I found the one, where I'm going to Philly." I fell in love with Dr. Ho five minutes into the conversation. It was a combination of her technical expertise and the fact that she actually cared for me as a person. She was a woman that cared about my needs. I just felt very comfortable and very confident in what to expect.

We proceeded with the deep plane neck lift surgery. The day of the surgery, I think I was going to throw up. I was a nervous wreck, but it was normal to be nervous. I remember going into the room, discussing some of the things that were going to take place, and then just waking up at the surgical center. After that, we went right to the hotel where we were staying because we were out of town.

I had a phone number to contact Dr. Ho 24/7. We had drains in, and we spent a week in Philly. Dr. Ho taught us how to take care of the drains. My husband was the one who took care of the drains. He sponge bathed me and did everything. But we were always in contact with Dr. Ho, whether it was by phone or email, if there were any questions or concerns at all. It made a point of showing that distance wasn't a problem. It didn't matter that we were from Rhode Island and she was in Philly. We could take care of everything just by talking.

Either way, she was beautiful to me. So it just made her feel more comfortable going out and about.

Absolutely, having the neck lift surgery changed my life. It just enhanced everything we did. Before, I'd go like this, don't look.

And now she holds her head high.

I feel so much better about myself. I lost weight, I lost 60 pounds. I started working out.

My message to anyone considering facelift and neck lift surgery, honestly, would really be to Dr. Ho. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like the person I feel today. If it weren't for her and my husband, I wouldn't look like this, and I wouldn't feel as good as I feel. I would recommend to anyone who is considering any type of facial plastic surgery with Dr. Ho to really listen to her, as she listens to you. You'll be so happy with your results if you do.
