On the final day of the year, Russia has issued a strong and alarming warning to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as tensions between Moscow and Kyiv continue to escalate.

Over the past 48 hours, Ukraine has allegedly carried out multiple drone attacks, leading to blackout-like conditions in parts of Moscow. Russian authorities claim that Ukraine also attempted to target an official residence linked to President Vladimir Putin, an act the Kremlin has described as a serious provocation.

Adding to the tension, Russia’s so-called “Doomsday Radio” broadcasted the classical piece Swan Lake, a signal that analysts often associate with major political or national crises.

In a sharp statement, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that Zelensky’s future is no longer secure and warned that he may be forced to live in hiding.
