The rule of the mission is "Milestone". This map is a very long course and has some gates. Monsters appear from one end of the course and invade to the other end. If only one enemy passes through a gate, the enemy spawn point will move to behind the gate. Finally, the mission will be failure if only one reaches the final gate, like "Dead line". We failed in this mission several times because everyone didn't keep easily enough life items which are necessary to revive until the later waves. The situation of players was usually getting worse and worse around the 7th wave, and it was almost collapsed by dozens of cyberdemons in the 8th wave and they broke through 2 or 3 gates. After that, only a few players survive with a few lives, and they didn't prevented the invasion of a horde of enemies in 9th or 10th wave. Only I have fought against them one time in the 8th and 9th wave. The reason why everyone couldn't save lives until the later waves is that there are far too many zombies and enough recovery items don't appear in the early waves. Certainly zombie is an weak enemy, but hitscan attack which it has is unavoidable.Especially, a zombie which has a SSG appears in the mod, and it's much more dangerous.As solution, we used "Marine reinforcements" intensively in the early waves. You can summon a marine from the item. The marine has one random weapon and moves and attacks enemies automatically. His movement is very slow and he can't avoid attacks, so he is unsuitable for a fight of a strong enemy. However, he is tough (maybe the same as a player with a megasphere), and he sometimes has a good weapon, like RL or plasma, so he can bring good military results on a horde of weak enemies. For the tactics, we saved lives and succeeded in the mission without an enemy's passing only one gate. It's overwhelming victory but a little monotonous for a video. However, everyone lost a lot of lives in 10th wave. Monsters teleported and moved very slowly in 10th wave, so it looked easy, but a lot of strong and tough enemies appear too much. When the mission was finished, "Mission complete" wasn't displayed. This cause was that a wad which hadn't done well with stronghold was just added in the server at that time.

In Stronghold, you mainly must defend something from waves of monsters during missions. There are portable items, like Heretic or Hexen. You can be invulnerable, freeze time, or quadruple taken damage of weapons by using them, and you can buy them in the intermission. "Stronghold - Multiplayer game enhancer Mod" was also used in the server. It was made as an extent patch of stronghold for cooperative. Many new enemies were added, and amount of enemies in each wave jump up to several times (maybe 4 or 5 times). Yes, It is much harder and more suitable for coop than the original.
