Ambient Music for a Metaverse - 1 HOUR | Ep 13: Lost Cavern

Exploring Ether continues to provide incredible sights. This metaverse seems to be stitched together by abstract concepts and ideas of what a fully-developed world would look like. AdAM is mixing together the ancient and the high-tech. He must believe that every futuristic society has a long lost history buried under the rock.

I follow a creek into a cavernous valley- a fantastical gateway carved into the stone. Two gigantic statues flanked an entrance to who knows where. I didn't get the sense that this was a warning to stay away. It felt safe in that damp cavern. There was something magnanimous about those silent guards. How long have they been standing watch in this misty grotto?

It always takes me a moment to snap out of the illusion. These stone sentinels aren't the fading remainders of an ancient race. There's no lore attached to this place. It's just a collection of digital assets in a virtual world. An environment made to evoke emotions of awe.

I suppose it's a testament to AdAM's work that I keep forgetting that.
