Kudirat Abiola - the wife of MKO Abiola was assassinated in cold bold on the street of Lagos State, Nigeria at a time that the military was in power in the country. This video is a narration of the unfortunate story of her gruesome murder. A couple of persons were later arrested and charged to court but two were found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging. On appeal to the appellate court, they were acquitted and discharged for reason that the prosecution did not prove the allegations beyond reasonable doubt. Kudirat was loved by many and her memory remains fresh in the minds of several persons across the world.
