NETTING A CARP POND / Nottingham Anglers Association (Bestwood Duck Ponds)Team D.C.K

A local water to us was surveying one of there waters, So D.C.K decided to help out and also take some pics and videos for them. So seen it as a opportunity for the group to see what is involved.

They separated with a net into two sections through the middle and netted the left side first. Once this was done they then started to the remaining side, to which most of the carp was situated.
We was told unfortunately its not a 100% catch rate with some fish escaping to sides etc and also possible odd small bowl under the water that may leave a gap for a few seconds enough for fish to escape. They advised around 65% would be caught.
