"The Waits" by L.P. Hartley | Ghost stories for Christmas | Audio narration

Sitting down to dinner on Christmas Eve, the Marriner family are pleasantly surprised when Christmas “waits” pay them a visit, singing carols at their door. But when they refuse Mr. Marriner’s money the family begins to wonder what they want.
