Let's Experiment with ROLLER METHODS on Jon Renau Zara in Palm Springs Blonde Regular Synthetic Wig

Let's Experiment with two different ROLLER METHODS (Steam & Curling Iron) on Jon Renau Zara in Palm Springs Blonde as she gets a makeover.

Zara is a gift from my angel, and was one of her very favorite girls so she had been VERY WELL LOVED so she needed a makeover to smooth her fibers.

As you know, I start all of my treatments with the Windex clarifying treatment,    • How I Use Windex to Remove Makeup, Pr...  
Then I shampoo with Estetica Shampoo,    • How I Shampoo & Condition My Wigs  
And then I used Bamboo Silicone Treatment to Condition    • How I Use Silicone Mix Bamboo Treatme...  

I did my heat treatment using a flat iron at 230° and a bottle of spray water. And of course, my fine tooth comb.

Then I came back in and rolled her up on mesh and wire rollers. I used 2" rollers until I ran out and then I filled in with 1 1/2" or were they 1 1/4"?
This was my first time to do this with rollers & Steam, so therefore experimenting with a floor steamer and my hair you wear steamer. In the past, I did try my 2 inch hot rollers on a human hair wig and a regular synthetic wig.... I wasn't very impressed with the results and it probably was because the rollers were too big or perhaps not hot enough to hold the curl.

Even after steaming her for two separate days and then letting her finally dry for three days, why did my beautiful curls seem to droop out??? Does anyone know what I could have done different?

I did try two different methods of applying heat to get my results. I think putting in the mesh rollers and then moving the curling iron over that to heat them up was genius!!! 🤓🤓 and I don't even know if I came up with that myself or I have seen someone do it and just forgot. But those are the curls that stayed! (even a little bit too much volume at my temples🤣) so I will definitely be trying to perfect that method in the future😃😃 wait, that word is too strong. I will just try to get better at it.😉

ZhaZam she turned out, absolutely gorgeous, but after all that work, she had to wear a hat🙄 Because that lace front rooting is ridiculous on this blonde color. But I will say this is an older wig and I haven't purchased this color from Jon Renau for four years, so maybe he has upped his game and perfected that lace front🤞🤞
