An Italian cheese producer has turned to the Rock as a way to continue selling to the United Kingdom post-Brexit.

Itané has been producing cheese for some 40 years.

However, since Brexit, the owner says the business incurred high fees when exporting its products to the UK.

Michele Patané decided to expand the business from Italy and set up a cheese factory right here, with hopes to re-enter the market and open up his products to the Rock.
He believes that with Gibraltar's diverse mix of cultures, the cheese factory has been a welcome addition.
