Why you should build CRIT SILVER WOLF | MoX 6-2 0-Cycle

I finally get a 4-pc Grand Duke set that is slightly better than my 2 pc - 2 pc.
Topaz with the new relic set deals around 10-15% higher damage than 2 pc Grand Duke + 2 pc Firesmith/Musketeer. It is alright to use 2-pc Grand Duke + 2-pc Hackerspace if you really need the SPD.

The difference is only around 3-4 crit substats, so you don't need to force 4-pc with worse substats.

People who skipped Silver Wolf or just started HSR after 1.1 might ask whether they should pull Silver Wolf or Ruan Mei. In my opinion you need both of them, but if you can only afford one, pick Ruan Mei.

As the game becomes more difficult you will need a DPS for each type anyway. But if you have a beefed-up DPS that you want to bring into off-type stages, Silver Wolf is indispensable; even more so when the boss is already weak to Quantum (but then you can use E6 Qingque the strongest character in the game).

Other than Pela, only SW can shred DEF iirc. Reducing DEF is one of the easiest ways to increase your damage, but Ruan Mei can give RES PEN in addition to SPD and DMG buffs. She can give these buffs in any situation, meaning she works even if your DPS is off-type. Ruan Mei and other upcoming OP supports might make Silver Wolf harder to compete for the support character slots. This doesn't mean Silver Wolf is useless, just that there are more alternatives nowadays therefore she is not a must pull anymore.

In conclusion, Silver wolf is still S tier for me. If you have her, your life will be easier. However Ruan Mei offers more and should be prioritized considering her banner is coming in a few weeks.
