Resident Evil 2 Remake (2019) S+ Plus Rank Hardcore Walkthrough and Gameplay, in 60fps 1080p played on the PS4 Pro, also on PC, Xbox One X. Resident Evil 2 Remake Hardcore Gameplay of Claire's Story 2nd Run. Just when I finished releasing the previous S Rank video, I find out that S+ Rank is attainable. If I would have known this, I would have went for it directly! Well, we can just consider that a preliminary run. Here is the full S+ Rank Walkthrough of Claire's 2nd Run on Hardcore difficulty.

What is the purpose of getting S+ Rank? Simply, to unlock the infinite Minigun. You can unlock the infinite Rocket Launcher by finishing Leon's campaign on Hardcore with S+ as well.

How do you get S+ Rank? It's the same time constraint as S Rank (under 2 hours for Claire 2nd Run), but you can't use any infinite weapons, and can't save more than 3 times. Or at least, that's what I've read. There was no mention of these unlockable weapons in the Records menu of the game (or their unlock conditions), as there was for the LE 5.

This was... a challenge. A challenge that only those that attempt it will understand. So please try it, and share in the stress and misery, lol. Think of trying to complete a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle. You spend days, maybe weeks, get most of it done, and have a small pile left. Then, you break out in a sweat because you realize the remaining pieces you have might not quite be enough. You are missing some pieces.

It's sort of a giant gamble, because you're putting your time and effort on the line. The whole thing takes 2 hours, but you really don't have any buffer room for mistakes. If you don't make it past the finish line in time, the whole thing gets scrapped and you start over. I already knew this from the first run at S Rank.

Now that you can't use infinite weapons for S+ Rank, it gets even more risky, because threats are persistent and will remain to destroy your run and all that you've accomplished. Running out of ammo is a real danger, and without sufficient firepower - the run is toast.

Thirdly, you can only save a few times -- as little as 3 times, I'm told. If you mess up, that means having to redo large sections of the game again. BTW, although 2 hours seems like a long time, it doesn't feel like it while playing. It's because the sense of urgency is always with you, and you always are looking to your next objective, and planning ahead. The whole thing was g.d. stressful.

G (Stage 5) takes one full minute, from the moment it slams the last car door. Allow for at least 90 seconds from the storage box/save point area. This means no later than 1:58:30!
