This video was adapted from an amazing video Japanese Youtube user "hito matu" uploaded earlier this year. The original video can be found here:

Huge props to this very talented player for showing the PAD world these combos!

It is now time for the English speaking PAD world to find out how to maximize damage output by utilizing advanced Orb Manipulation techniques utilizing the 'Change the World' skill.

This involves creating 'drop combo' style arrangements out of the board, a challenging task which should now be much easier for US PAD players to pull off by referencing this video.

Change the World information - CTW:

At present, these monsters have the Change the World skill:

1.Venus in her evolved form (her unevolved form has a weaker version with a shorter duration).
2.Yomi, both evolved and unevolved forms.
3. Eco Tiny, all forms.

Summary:

1. The traditional line combo arrangement is more consistent. The whole screen gets cleared before new orbs are given a chance to drop down on the screen.

2. The alternative cascading 'drop combo' arrangement has far more potential for damage. Using the same orbs, it will have a higher damage multiplier than the line arrangement.

a) Since the whole board is slowly cascading down while all of the combos you set up are being executed, there is also a higher innate chance of you getting extra cascades which you didn't set up!

b) However, this aforementioned strength of the cascading 'drop combo' arrangement is also its weakness. Since the whole board cascades down, new orbs are constantly added to the mix and this can sometimes mess with your arrangement, causing your masterful combos to come to a stop prematurely.

c) The aforementioned weakness can be countered in Tricolor dungeons by using a color that normally is not featured in that dungeon as your secondary color. This ensures that orbs that drop on to the field will not interfere with your drop combos!

This is shown in the video, with light orbs being used against the Ancient Fire Dragon. Ironically, Ardberg himself created these light orbs from the blue orbs that were on the board!

3. The cascading 'drop combo' arrangement really shines in Tri-color dungeons, where you'll more likely than not get many extra cascades, further boosting the damage you inflict.

4. The cascading 'drop combo' arrangement is much harder to set up than the line combo arrangement so it may not be practical for use in stressful situations where a ruined combo might mean death.

The line combo arrangement may be a better choice in situations where you're not sure whether you can pull off the cascading 'drop combo' arrangement. Practice makes perfect though, hit the Endless Corridors and memorize the patterns!

5. When setting up one of these patterns, count how many orbs of the secondary color you have on the screen and then refer to this video for the correct pattern!

The screen has thirty orbs in total which means that if you have 8 orbs of the secondary color on the screen, you also have 22 orbs of your primary color. Remember that you have as long as you want to study your board and the proper pattern in the video before triggering 'Change the World'!

6. The 'drop combo' arrangement is ideal for Anubis! More chance of cascades means more chance of triggering Anubis!
