An aging sea captain, once a master of a lightship, now drifts through the echoes of his past. Once his hands could summon light from magic, building worlds from sparks and steel. Now he wanders through rust and silence, chasing ghosts that time won’t heal.

This original symphonic rock piece merges theatrical storytelling with powerful imagery — a Jim Steinman-inspired soundscape.

From the rumble of waves and thunder, the scene opens on the sea. The historic Lightship Nantucket emerges, bathed in cascading beams of light that move in perfect time to the drums. At center stage, our stoic sea captain fades into view, his eyes and voice telling the tale as only a weathered soul can. When the song closes, the captain fades away a changed man leaving the Nantucket alone on the horizon before darkness falls and the credits roll.

This is Wings In The Wasteland — a tribute to dreams, to the relentless passage of time, and to the beauty of telling stories in music and motion.
