Gimmie a break is an American television sitcom that was created by Mort Lachman and Sy Rosen. The sitcom aired on NBC for six consecutive from October 1981 to May in 1987 and had a total of 137 amazing episodes. The sitcom starred Nell Carter as the house keeper for a widowed police Chief and his three daughters.
